We were in a particular situation where we had to first sell our property and then look for a new one – within a very short amount of time due to the nature of my job. It was very quick purchase and I was a first home buyer. So Jason helped me a lot during the process, for example, things to consider for choosing property, comparing properties, offer process, and so on. He also provided good advices during negotiation, so 1) I was able to purchase the property I want 2) I purchased it on right price. I think those 2 things are all you can get from a realtor. We sold our existing home and purchased a new one with him. During the sale of our home, a buyer put in an offer then tried to escape the agreement using an absurd reasoning from the status certificate. At this moment Jason was quick to speak to my neighbours and property management regarding the rule and found out it was never strictly enforced. He relayed this information to the buyer but they still cancelled the agreement on us. Jason did his absolute best to save the deal. Fortunately, the day after we secured another deal and set a flexible closing date. The purchase of our new home was a lot more challenging than expected. And knowing this, Jason was very flexible in making appointments last minute so that we can go see homes swiftly during this crazy market. He was able to accomodate all of our requests despite his busy schedule. I can say he went above and beyond for us. I made a joke that it may take looking at more than a 100 homes until we find the right one and he was willing to go through that! Thankfully it took less than that and we won our new home in a multiple offer situation. Jason was patient with us in finding the family home we had envisioned.
